Brent Howison

Brent Howison joined Remi in 2001 and has successfully held various roles within the organization over the last twenty years including Underwriting Manager, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and President. As CEO, Brent is responsible for leading the organization, building a winning service-oriented culture, and achieving the company's annual strategic goals and business plans. Brent has a great passion for the business and works tirelessly to ensure the Remi value proposition, philosophy, and day-to-day client service delivery and execution reflects the highest standards in the industry.

Brent received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maine in Orono. He also obtained a Master's in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Prior to joining Remi, Brent worked for Royal & SunAlliance Insurance as a Senior Financial Analyst and Northland Industrial Truck Company in Accounting.

Brent holds a Property & Casualty Agent License from the North Carolina Department of Insurance and is a Certified School Risk Manager.
