The North Carolina Mid-Market Fast 40 Award was created by Business North Carolina magazine and Cherry Bekaert LLP, an accounting firm, back in 2011. To qualify for the award, a company must be headquartered in NC, have an annual revenue in the range of $10-$500 million, and demonstrate sustained revenue and employment growth over the past three years.
Remi is grateful to earn the award for the fifth year in a row as one of the fastest growing, middle market companies in the state. Winners were celebrated at an award gala held at the Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, NC.
Bob Fleischacker, Remi’s Vice President, General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, accepted the award on the company’s behalf again this year. “It is an honor to receive the NC Mid-Market Fast 40 for the 5th consecutive year. This award truly reflects the outstanding efforts of the entire Remi team,” remarked Bob.
When Erik Horstmann, Managing Partner of Cherry Bekaert LLP was asked where mid-market companies were challenged, he responded, “Companies have to beat their competitors to the punch to sustain faster growth and find customers quicker.”
That statement has never been truer. As Remi prepares to reach $100 million in revenue over the next few years, the company is in the middle of a major growth spurt. For the first time, there is a Chief Revenue Officer, Dana Upshaw, to groom the sales workforce, and a Chief Technology Officer, Robert Bailey, to upgrade all our technology. As every growing company knows, it’s important to have the right people in place to achieve this level of success.
As we reflect on where we’ve been and look forward to where we are going, it’s important to remember the company’s mission and core values.
